Dermis

15 ad concepts. One winning hook. A second campaign followed.

3.1% CTR · 1.4% LCTR · Re-engaged for second campaign.

Overview

Dermis had 15 ad concepts with different hooks ready to test, but no capacity to manage creator production in-house. They needed a reliable pipeline of polished, on-brand UGC that could run as paid ads without heavy revision cycles — and zero operational overhead on their end.

What we did

Rather than jumping straight into production, we aligned with Dermis on their existing ad strategy first. Their team had already developed 15 concepts — we agreed to let them launch those first, identify the winning hook, then brief our creators around that proven angle.

  • Sourced and onboarded 5 creators suited to Dermis's aesthetic: clean, professional, skincare-relevant.
  • Built a dedicated Creative Brief and Creative Guidelines covering brand overview, tone of voice, do's and don'ts, and shot requirements.
  • Managed all creator communication, script approvals, revision requests, and content delivery end-to-end. Dermis had zero operational overhead throughout.

One creator's output — described by the client as "clean and professional, but to the point" — was used as the quality benchmark for all subsequent briefs.

Campaign outcomes

UGC format confirmed to perform. Client immediately requested to scale. Second campaign launched October 2025 with an expanded creator roster.

"UGC ads are working well, let's double down."

Key takeaways

  • Hook-first strategy built on Dermis's own data reduced wasted spend.
  • End-to-end management meant Dermis stayed focused on media buying while UCC owned everything else.
  • Multiple creators running simultaneously = faster hook testing without bottlenecks.
